36 Years In The Making
With its mission to integrate faith, truth, and academic excellence, True Light Christian School remains committed to preparing students to become Christ-like in character, discovers their God-given gifts, and make a positive impact in their communities.
Marshall Area Christian School, founded in 1987, recently underwent a name change to True Light Christian School. As an independent, non-denominational Christian school, True Light initially began with just 18 students in grades 1-4 and has since grown to educate over one hundred students in pre-school to 8th grade. Representing 15 different Christian churches from Marshall and surrounding communities, True Light Christian School remains dedicated to providing a nurturing and inclusive Christian community where students can grow academically, spiritually, and personally.
True Light Christian School was originally located at Calvary Baptist (now Radiant Life) and later relocated to Assembly of God before moving to its current location at 601 E. College Drive. This move was possible because Grace Life Church was awarded the East Side Campus by the school district's Blue Ribbon Task Force and subsequently invited True Light Christian School to join them. Today, the school continues to form a strong and diverse Christian community while focusing on providing quality education to students grounded in biblical principles.
